Does anyone know where to enter a partership composite tax paid to Alabama on an individual return so the taxpayer can get credit for the amount paid?
I've looked everywhere!
Thanks for an info!

In the resident state, Credits. Other state tax credit.
The more I know the more I don’t know.

Sorry, I think I asked the question wrong. The partner paid a composite tax to AL.
I don't see where to enter the tax paid to Alabama, so the taxpyer will get credit on the AL return, Line 23 Alabama form 40NR.
Ideas?
Thanks.

I found the answer with Lacerte's help (miracles do happen)
Under the State and Local "other" screen I selected AL and there is a box for Alabama payments.
That takes care of the problem!

Do you really mean Pass Through Entity Tax (PTET)?
The more I know the more I don’t know.
