Passive loss?  No basis?

Thank you for answering.  This K-1 is for office rentals and on is showing a loss but when I input it

to his return it doesn't show anywhere.

Take a look at Form 8582, and the 'general info' (that is what it is called in Lacerte...) that divulges unallowed passive loss carrovers.
