I purchased my 2025 ProSeries software in August 2025. There is no link to download it yet. If anyone can answer my question that would be awesome.

Its supposed to be ready for those that have paid for it already, BUT dont expect a full functioning product yet, its pretty much a beta (maybe even alpha) release.
And DO NOT transfer your clients into the 2025 version yet, wait as long as possible, early transfer bugs happen every year!

Susan provided that link that provides almost everything you need to know. But to add some additional information to that link - you don't have to be crazy to download it now......... but it helps😲

I always download shortly after it's avaliable, but I never transfer over taxpayer files right away - Other than my own, and possibly another or two to do some tax planning, and see how it looks at that point. Most of the time the 2 or 3 files I do transfer are later deleted before transferring again when the returns are ready to be worked on.
I never do bulk transfers (Except for organizer preparation) but rather transfer clients when their information is received.
This wouldn't work for everyone, but it has worked for me.

I got an email last week that my credit card was being charged for the program. This morning from the 2024 program I see download next year's product. I just downloaded it but did not transfer files and I haven't even taken a peek at it yet. But apparently if you paid for it, it is available now.

Hi! I am the person who started this conversation. I paid for my 2026 tax program in August of 2025. It shows in my Intuit account but there is no "download" button. There is also nothing in my 2024 program that says anything about downloading next year's product. I also signed up for the "early access" but have received no response from the people in charge. I

Thanks for that info. I have tried numerous times to download it from the help menu. It will not install because it thinks I have a Proseries tax program open - which I do not. Very frustrating.

So I forgot that I have to download the program in Chrome - not Microsoft Edge. Once I did that it worked perfectly.
