I often see on tax returns an entry for capital stock of $1,000 on the balance sheet. Does anyone else run into this or know why it seems to be sort of a standard practice to put a round $1,000 on a tax return?
Yes I've seen that. Some state(s) have (had) a Capital stock tax.
