I read in "Important Update to ProSeries PPR refund requests" by Intuit_Marisol that PPR requests will be limited to 2 years back. If I didn't misunderstand, then if I have a Streamline Foreign Offshore Procedure (SFOP) client for whom I need to file 3 years back, I will no longer be able to generate a return for the third year back. Is this correct? It seems like Intuit should continue to support at least 3 years back to align with IRS procedures.

The way I interpret it, you can still pay a PPR fee to prepare a tax return, but you can't get a REFUND for a PPR for that far back.

For example, if you paid PPR fees for two tax returns but ended up only needing one, they would not refund you the unused amount.

But that is only the way I read it; I could be wrong.
