Since you have a form 8990 for 2023 the pass-through entities, such as partnerships and S corporations, you should have Form 8990 available for the individual 1040 filers for 2023 who receive K-1s from the pass through entities

Yes, we definitely need Form 8990 on the individual return.  Its only been, like 3+ years since this important form was first introduced.  I am frankly disappointed that Proseries Professional still does not have it available!

I am also disappointed that we do not have 8990 for the individual 1040. This is unreasonable. I have 4 clients that require the use of this form right now and I was shocked to see it not available. What is the workaround for still being able to file the return electronically? how do we manage this?

Agreed, we definitely need to have  form 8990 available for individual taxpayers.

Where is form 8990 needed to be included with the filing of individual income tax returns???

Level 2

checking in on this issue.  Any movement at all to get an absolutely needed form 8990 for the 1040?   Are we just supposed to do it by hand and attach it?

I sure hope not.  its now been 4 years for ProSeries to get this straight.  Can someone from Intuit please respond to this thread.
