Fix the programming to allow business extensions to be e-filed without entering W-2s, prior year income, or unchecking the box to e-file the original return.  W-2s were required in 2023 and now prior year income, fix the programming to the 2022 version that allowed extensions to be filed without all the extras that aren't reported on the extension form.

agreed, the ability to quickly file extensions should be one of the few areas in electronic tax reporting that can be prepared and transmitted en masse quickly. All this extra unnecessary reporting makes the process take exponentially longer and no longer efficient. It is also worthy to note that 1120-H extensions aren't supported anymore for electronic filing by ProSeries, which they have been for years. Considering that this is the first year that the 1120-H tax return is allowed to be electronically filed, not allowing the extension seems asinine.

If I remember correctly from last year, if you uncheck the box to e-file the return itself, those problems go away.

If you are referring to the 1120-H extension problem I discussed, the problem still exists when unchecking the e-file the return itself.

I am referring to the 1120S and 1065 returns.  I don’t file any 1120H returns
