The utility I am looking for is that Lacerte would automatically put a carrot in the corner of an input field where there was a data entered the prior year, but no data has yet been input in the current year, and create a "To Do" list.  For example, without this utility, you might blast through the tax return not addressing an HSA distribution, because the client did not go online and download the tax forms and did not provide it to you.  So it might be missed.  If this utility was in place, it would show up in a "To Do" diagnostic listing, that there had been input in this field in the prior year.  It is also a tool to find input fields that are in a strange place such as mineral tax credits.  You could link on the "To Do" diagnostic and it would take you to that input field that was used the prior year.
