Electronic filing requires entries for the Business Representative First and Last Name.
Solution:
This diagnostic generates when a specific state requires a Business Representative for e-file purposes. If the state requires a Business Representative, this critical Federal e-file diagnostic is generated. This input does not flow to any form, worksheet or statement. It can only be seen in the E-file Schema information. It is up to the Partnership to choose who will be their representative.
Click on the diagnostic from the Diagnostics tab. In screen 4 Electronic Filing>Miscellaneous>Business Representative enter the first/last name of the Business Representative.Critical, will prevent e-file transmission.
