The following diagnostic is generating:

Electronic Filing does not allow more than 7 credit for taxes paid to another state credits. If this return contains more than 7 credits, you must file as a conventional paper return.

Solution:

Paper file if diagnostic is correct.

2) DO you have 7 or more state credits flowing into the resident state.

Could you manually calculate the correct amount for a few states and attach a PDF statement showing the combinations?

The most I've ever had to report was 5 states.
