New York Depreciation Like Kind Exchange Asset #{PrefixNum} should reflect on the New York depreciation form, the date the property was identified and not the date the property was placed in service as reflected on the Federal/New York depreciation schedules, See federal Publication 946 for further information.
Solution:
Diagnostic generates when the Simplified Method in LKE Wizard is not used. The diagnostic pertains to the new asset created on the Depreciation Schedule by the program but does not appear in Screen 22 Depreciation until proforma'd to the following year.
