Submitted by SherriE75 on 04-21-2025 01:07 PMThis is my second post for the same thing. This is happening only on Virginia returns. The efile instruction letter that we give to our clients is incorrect on the refund amount when the direct deposit box is not checked.
If the client is getting a 500.00 refund and they don't want direct deposit the VA letter will say they are getting a refund of $0. This did not start happening until the end of 2023. I thought you would have fixed it by the time 2024 came out but it is still an issue.
Right now, I am having to "white out" the $0 and hand write in the amount of their refund.
