how can I get small fgn tax credit without filling out all of the form 1116? It generates lots of errors for unnecessary information to take a small credit if I just put the credit amount on the form 1116
What kind of error messages are you receiving? Usually when the 1116 is not necessary there are no evil messages except one telling you that it is unnecessary to file the form.
