The following diagnostic is generating:

8283 #{PrefixNum}: The date of the contribution cannot be various when filing electronically. Please enter a valid date or file this return on paper.

Solution:

"Various is no longer accepted for e-file purposes. A valid date must be entered per e-file specifications or it will be rejected. If a valid date cannot be entered this return must be paper filed

To enter a date of the contribution to resolve this diagnostic:

Click on the Detail tab

Navigate to Screen 26 - Noncash Contributions (8283)

Scroll down to the Contributions of $5,000 or Less section

Enter an actual date (ex: 01/02/XXXX) in the field labeled Date of contribution (negative date = various) (code 5)"
