Address autofill from ZIP code input and resolving E-file diagnostic Ref ID# 328 in Lacerte

Address autofill allows you to input the ZIP code for a client's address, and the program will automatically fill in the city and state. This feature works on individual module.

Enter the 5-digit (or 5-digit +4 extension) in the ZIP code field and press the Enter key.  The City and State will populate based off the ZIP code entered.

• Lacerte won't override existing city and state inputs.
• Only 5-digit ZIP codes or ZIP codes with extensions (+4) are accepted.
• City and state values are populated in capital letters only if Caps Lock is on.
