How to download next year's ProSeries product

You can use the Download Next Year's ProSeries Product feature within your program to download and install next year's product when it becomes available and your order has completed processing.

Follow these steps to download next year's product:

1. Open ProSeries 2024.
2. From the Update menu, select Update Installed Products.
3. Once the updates are downloaded, click Install Now.
4. When the installation is complete, the update window will display a list of what was installed. Click Close to relaunch ProSeries.
5. From the Tools menu, select License Products...
6. Click OK, and then click Close.
7. From the Help menu, select Download Next Year's ProSeries Product.
8. Review the on-screen instructions, then click OK.
   • ProSeries will check for an active 2025 Fast Path. If your Fast Path subscription is found, the next year of ProSeries will automatically download and begin the installation.

How to resolve a Activate Fast Path Subscription error

You may receive the following error:

"You must have next year's ProSeries Fast Path membership in order to download next year's ProSeries. Please click the Activate Fast Path Subscription button to activate next year's Fast Path Subscription."

This error generates for any of the following reasons:

1. ProSeries 2024 doesn't have the update that activates the download.
   • Update ProSeries 2024.
2. You have renewed for tax year 2025 but didn't re-license ProSeries 2024 to pull in the updated license.
   • From the Tools menu, choose License Products.
3. You haven't purchased ProSeries 2025 .
   • Click the Activate Fast Path Subscription button to renew online.

How to download next year's program from My Account

If you're unable to use the Download Next Year's ProSeries Product feature, you can download your program from within MyAccount. Enter your username and password to sign in, and then click Download 2025.
