Taxable wages are $204956
Medicare wages are $209918
Medicare withholding is $3133
Yes math was followed on 8959. Math is correct.
However, even the first line in Part V says "If you have more than one W-2....." and I believe the employer is suppose to take care of the over-withholding correction if it is just one W-2 as it is in this situation.
I just am not sure if it is appropriate to claim the additional Medicare tax withholding when there is only one W-2.
