This is why I tell all my clients they're not allowed to die before April 15.  (I also do probate work, but not until after tax season.)  You can stress out about this, or since the exclusion amount appears on only the first page, use the online fillable 706 for Page 1 and the program for the rest of it. The return has to be paper-filed anyway.
