@George4Tacks That link tells how to update the client letter.  I don't use the generic Intuit version, I do a much better one using word processing on my own letterhead.  But for ProSeries there are no instructions on how to update the 1040-V, so it seems that we are the neglected stepchildren.  The Lacerte post, meanwhile, tells us:

  • Updating Client Letters in Lacertet Tax: I MISSED THE ANNOUNCEMENT ON THE NAME CHANGE.  IS LACERTET A PETITE VERSION OF LACERTE? MAYBE A COMPOSITE FOR LACERTE TOILET? For guidance on updating client letters with the new addresses, please refer to this support article: Common questions about editing client letters in Lacerte
  • Update address on the 1040-V per client: THIS IS THE PART MISSING FROM THE PROSERIES LINK YOU MENTION
    • Go to Forms tab>1040-V
    • Right-click the IRS address and select Jump to Input
    • Select correct IRS Center from the IRS Center (Ctrl+T) [O] dropdown.
