Hello all,

Client moved from NY to GA mid-last year.

How do I allocate each state?

I do not see anywhere in the program that I can state she lived in NY for a certain number of days and moved to Georgia.

Thanks in advance for any help.

You apportion. 1-3 factors as appropriate. Sales, property and payroll.

There is no part year construct for S Corporations.

The more I know the more I don’t know.

You need to file a federal 1120S for federal, and a part year for each state allocating and apportioning your income and expenses for each state. You also may need to check to see if a final return is required for state she left, and register in the state she moved to.
