TY25 early access install

Dean
Level 2

I have been a Lacerte user since the 1987 tax year and while I appreciate being included in the TY25 early access, the install process was NOT ready for prime time: neither the instructions, the process, the personnel. I spent 2 hours and 24 minutes on the phone with two people, both very interested in providing a resolution and desperately tried, before any resolution was achieved! This experience has not inspired confidence. I am very disappointed that it consumed so much of my time with the impending 10/15/25 individual extended deadline.

While Nia and Tiffany did their best to provide a resolution, it appears that their back up staff were not all prepared for this roll out. They were both great, but the time spent to resolution SUCKED!

While I'm sorry you had to deal with such a mess, I'm grateful that you posted.  I think I'll wait a while before installing the 2025 version.

I miss the old days - the Larry Lacerte days.  Intuit offers some benefits, but there are certainly some drawbacks to being gobbled up by a giant.

On the flip side, aren't we glad we no longer have to use floppy disks?!
